Carriage Barn Restoration

The customer called us about an historic barn that he'd "let go" for longer than he should have. The roof on the southern half of the barn was about to come down. Some temporary fixes had been done, but the building was in need of some serious TLC. Upon closer examination it became apparent that some of the beams were rotten and would need to be replaced as well.

We removed and replaced the roof, and removed and replaced several 30' long timbers on all three stories of the building. We installed new steel plates to hold up some of the old beams as well.

It's a great feeling to help preserve and protect an historic property like this barn and we're glad to have been able to help keep this one standing!
