Stairs & Entryway
Two projects completed for one client.
Erick had an unfinished stairway he needed help with, so we stepped in. We used Douglas Fir milled into post and rail for the stair and balcony rails, with a unique silhouette on the rail for a distinctive appearance. The stair treads were finished with Yellow Pine.
Erick's father has a colonial style home, but the entryway was bland and square, lacking in the details that would make the entry stand out and match the colonial style of the house. We added feet to the mock columns on either side of the door, a head with band, and a cap with crown molding. We were careful not to damage the metal siding on either side of the entry, and now the home has much more curb appeal.
