The Grove House

The Grove House was one of White Oak Construction's first projects, completed in collaboration with a few other builders. This two story timber frame home features many high-end finishes and details.

 

The building is surrounded by a timber framed wrap-around porch with locally-made leveling brackets and is sided entirely with Western Red Cedar shingles. High-efficiency windows from Marvin and doors are trimmed in cedar as well. The standing seam metal roof is durable and attractive.

There two chimneys for the Rumford fireplaces, which are curved in the back to reflect more heat into the room and create a draw that minimizes heat loss. The home also features radiant floor heating throughout.
